[12 May 2005] spread the word...
Insired by Miss Carmen
This reminds me a little of the game 'consequences' - a simple exercise that can, more often than not, arouse the curiosity in those who stumble across it - and in turn, spread the written word a little further. Oh, yeah...keep that powerful wave rolling, baby!

[06 February 2005] woman power...
There were 11 people hanging onto a rope that came down from a helicopter. Ten were men and one woman. They all decided that one person should get off because if they didn't the rope would break and everyone would die.

[06 November 2004] air of uncertainty...
John Kerry didn't make it. I'm no big political expert and I don't really pay enough attention to politics at home let alone abroad. However, my gut feeling tells me that another Bush presidency is going to bring some serious issues to the entire world before it's over.

[22 October 2004] Friday thoughts...
To know true freedom we must first face and embrace our deepest fears. Fears are born from shaken faith or self belief and it takes a great deal of courage to relinquish the control which we feel is our only protection from our fears - but when we do, no matter what the outcome, we discover a deeper inner strength and from there we can take the next step forward.
As all of Nature, we change and grow with each new day. Life is a journey of self discovery through challenges met and we are the culmination of each experience lived...

[03 August 2004] catch up
long time no blog...but things have been hectic. My dad is home again now but having B12 injections every two days. Apparently, his gut can't absorb the B12 from his food or tablets so injections are the only way. He's feeling much better for being home, though.
New projects are flying at us from all directions at the moment. Paul has another contract job - 3 days a week for the next 4 weeks; a new site for our accountants; a mortgage site for our financial consultant; an 'arty' site for a guy who spray paints cars - decoratively [I am so looking forward to working on THAT one!].
We are also beginning a new venture of our own but more details on that when it's up and running in the next couple of months.
Tomorrow, Paul and I are on a photo shoot! Success on Tap is sponsoring a local 'Football Day' which is a charity event to raise funds for Shelter. The big day is August the 14th, but the local rag wanted to get some editorial out before then to boost the punters so we are doing a photo shoot tomorrow for a press release. As Clive and Kate live up in Yorkshire, it was decided Paul and I would go along to represent Success on Tap as the venue is just down the road from us. So...I'm away to bed for beauty sleep and it's out with the old warpaint in the morning!
Here is a little something to contemplate when you are finding it a challenge to let something go...
You can never jump into the same river twice.

ouch!
Well, Terry was on form! I asked him to give my knee some attention as it's become a lot stiffer since taking up Yogalates. I was hoping it would loosen it some but I think there is just way too much scar tissue in there now.

[05 July 2004] under starters orders...
Well, I'm having an early night tonight! Spent all day finishing a site which is now in pre-live awaiting the OK from the client before going live. Tomorrow, it's back to the full rebuild of Clive's site which I want live at the end of the week. It's gonna be a grindstone week for sure!

[03 July 2004] weekends!
Saturday has arrived and part of me is wishing it was Monday!
I really want to work. I have two projects on - one almost finished - and I want them live!
However, a MUCH bigger part of me is saying bugger the work! Why?
