[05 October 2009] Freedom...?
Why do people talk about 'freedom' as if it is a god given right; something politicians can bestow upon us; something we all deserve? It's time to stop this infantile drivel; stop chasing a self-gratifying illusion; stop passing the buck and grow some balls! Freedom is NOT a 'state of being' or a 'position in life' or a 'singular condition'.
Freedom is the magical by product of TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR ACTIONS!

Being a parent...
Why do some people believe that having children makes them a parent?
Being a parent is a high profile and incredibly demanding career choice that requires dedication, excellent people management skills, a profound understanding of those less experienced than yourself and the wisdom to know when to speak and when to keep your mouth shut! The hours are VERY long with few holidays and NO sick leave.

[19 March 2005] stop blaming the kids!
When oh, when are we going to stop blaming the kids and, as parents, start being accountable?!
I am so fed up of hearing adults moan and complain about today's generation whilst they do absolutely nothing to sow the seeds that will develop into healthy, caring individuals of the future.
